meet our team
Chad & Jamie Minor
Chad and Jamie are just an ordinary couple serving an extra ordinary God living in a city that needs Hope, Love and Faith. They are dreamers who are in their weakness saying yes to God as they join him on a journey of Hope.
They know it does not take two people to change the culture in a city so they are excited to join an awesome team of people who are already serving the city of Canton as they pray, hope and serve the city to see Christ glorified together.
They have a dream to see a Hope filled city that produces hope filled children that change the culture of the beautiful little city of Canton.
Carl & Anne pace
Carl and Anne believe in the transformative power of the Word of God, and are stepping out in faith to help provide quality biblical teaching to the folks that God brings through the doors of Rising Hope Canton. They have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of Jesus Christ in the lives of their fellow Rising Hope family members. They believe strongly in community (Acts 2:42) and feel blessed to live life with Rising Hope members that have become family to them.
Carl's PhD in Bible and their joint passion for teaching serve as their springboard for helping the lost to explore, establish, and strengthen their relationships with Jesus Christ. Whether teaching on Sunday morning, or gathering in their home, at the bookstore, or over coffee to lead a Bible study, the Paces are enthusiastic about digging into God's Word with others, and encouraging their brothers and sisters in their faith journey.
Ashley is the Director of Youth and Children's Ministries at Rising Hope Canton. She graduated from Malone University with a degree in Youth Ministry and has been involved in leading youth and children at churches for over eight years. Ashley has a passion for showing teens and children Christ's love. She believes in showing them that through brokenness, the light of Christ still shines through the cracks.
Whether she is leading one of the small groups, discipling youth, teaching children, working with the volunteers, or just getting coffee with someone, her desire is that the person knows the overwhelming and transforming love of Christ. Ashley's husband Greg is a wonderful support at Rising Hope by being involved in several of the ministries as well! When Ashley is not at Rising Hope, she enjoys coffee, her dog Annabelle and cat Kai, building relationships, hanging out with friends, date nights with Greg, and anything involving the fine arts!
